Peter Amory played the role of Chris Tate from 1989 to 2003. The character of Chris Tate was introduced to the audience when he arrived in Emmerdale with the entire Tate family which includes Frank, the father, his stepmother, Kim and his sister, Zoe.
His character has experienced an awful turn of events when he was involved in a plane crash which left him paralyzed basically from the waist down.
