Everyone’s second-favorite Lannister, Jaime, also pops up in the trailer. “I promised to fight for the living,” the troubled knight declares. “I intend to keep that promise.” It seems like a throwaway line at first. But when you look a little closer, it might spell a huge spoiler for his future.
When he says “the living,” does he mean against the Night King and his army of the dead? If so, that means he might have to break with his sister, Cersei, who much prefers trying to grab the Iron Throne while everyone’s distracted.
