Possibly the biggest and most conspicuous omission in the trailer is the person who’s only featured once, despite the fact he’s arguably the most popular character on the show. We’re talking, of course, about Sam Tarly. Nah, just kidding. It’s Tyrion.
The Imp is only shown once, nothing doing much of anything in a nondescript, empty landscape. Could that mean that he’s been sent away from the big battle in the North on some kind of secret mission? And why does he look so glum? We’ll have to wait to find out.
