A brief shot in the trailer shows a ship belonging to Euron Greyjoy, and carrying mercenaries from the fabled Golden Company. This might spell trouble for Daenerys, Jon, and their supporters, as Cersei sent Euron to procure the Company’s services. But who’s leading them?
It doesn’t look like Euron… It might be Young Griff. For non-readers of the books, he’s a Golden Company commander who claims to be Aegon Targaryen – Daenerys’ nephew – who has the strongest claim to the Iron Throne! If true, is he there to fight for Cersei… or for himself?
