The first episode of the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones will be broadcast April 14. That’s plenty to be excited about, but we’re afraid we have some good news and some bad news. The good? Season eight’s start date is right around the corner.
The bad? You won’t be talking about it around the water cooler for too long. While each season from the first to the sixth had ten episodes each, season seven had only seven. And season eight – we hope you’re sitting down for this – will have only six. That’s right, in just a little over a month – the final episode is set to air May 19 – the world’s most popular show will be over.
