There have been many artists and bands throughout musical history that have given us some of the most beloved and iconic songs that are relevant from generation to generation. One of the biggest duos ever were the brother and sister, Richard and Karen Carpenter. Once they signed a record deal, their fame and success exponentially grew. However, as we know from many tragic stories of celebrities and musicians, fame is not an easy path and is filled with sacrifices and struggles. The Carpenters were a family musical group which was popular throughout the late 1960s and 1970s. The group was comprised of brother and sister Richard and Karen Carpenter.
The siblings were about four years apart, but never the less, they were inseparable from one another. This was despite the fact that the two children were completely different from each other personality wise. Karen loved to talk to people while Richard preferred playing in his room.
