Moving to Los Angeles with his now wife, Jane Benyo, and daughter Kimberly gave the band a chance to reach out to a wider audience. Garages just weren’t cutting it for this band anymore, and they had goals of spreading out and gaining fame! Petty and Benyo had their second daughter, Adria, making this rock and roll family complete. The band signed up to Shelter records in the hope for fame, but it didn’t all go to plan.
