The crew of the vessel was composed of 885 members. Most of them were casual employees and not permanent workers who joined the ship a couple of hours before the Titanic sailed off. The recruiting process began just a month earlier.
In the picture you can spot Edward John Smith, the captain of the ship. Around him were other crew members who were working as officers of all kinds and as engineers.
