This is a picture of two survivors of the RMS Titanic disaster, Mrs. Charlotte Collyer and her daughter Marjorie. Husband and father, Harvey Collyer, unfortunately, did not survive the sinking of the ship, however.
According to records, Charlotte was in bed feeling unwell when the ship hit the iceberg. Her husband came back to tell her what had happened but said that nobody seemed panicked, so they stayed in their room for a while. Charlotte and her daughter were rescued in lifeboat 14.
