Just by looking at all these men under the propellers, you can really appreciate the size of this magnificent ship. This image was taken close to the time the construction was finished, so by then, all of the different parts were already in place.
The boat was 883 feet long to be exact, which, just to get the proportions straight, is taller than a good-sized building. Looking at the crew looking at the propellers appreciating their hard work, is one of the most heart-wrenching pictures out there.
