Prior to his reggae hits, such as songs like It Wasn’t Me, Angel, and Boombastic, Shaggy was a part of the 10th Marine Regiment in the United States Marine Corps. He was on duty during The Gulf War in the early 1990s.
It was in the mid 1990s and the early 2000s that Shaggy was at the height of his musical career. In recent years, Shaggy has slowly tried to make a musical comeback thanks to a featured track with other well-known artists.
