Actor Morgan Freeman served in the United States Air Force when he was younger. These days he owns his own plane but the passion for flying came when he was a young boy. He served for a total of three years and eight months, even giving up a scholarship for the Jackson State University drama program in order to enlist to the army.
What started as a love of planes propelled him (pun intended) to join the Air Force and later purchase his own plane when he was good and famous. Freeman is one of Hollywood’s iconic actors and has been in films like Driving Miss Daisy and The Shawshank Redemption.

Prior to the years when Jimi was known for his incredibly impressive guitar skills, he was a United States paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division back in 1961. After serving for a brief period of time, in 1962 Jimi went all in to his music.
Jimi is known for his short yet influential time in music, being labeled “arguably the greatest instrumentalist in the history of rock music.” The Jimi Hendrix Experience brought him international fame and success.
