Dogs often chase around patterns of light and shadow across the wall or on the floor. It’s quite amusing to watch your dog do this, and you may be surprised to learn that it’s actually part of the reason why they do it.
They can tell you’re amused by the way you react, so they might do it to get some positive attention. However, if they do it obsessively, it might be compulsive behavior – in which case, it should be nipped in the bud.
