Ah yes, that perfected head tilt that has many of us letting out an “aww” whenever our dog pulls the pose. This is a common behavior in a lot of dogs, and a lot of research has gone into uncovering precisely why they do it.
Many now think a dog tilting their head is their way of picking out words we are saying to see if they’re in for a reward. Another thought is our four-legged friends are trying to hear where the noise is coming from. Either way, it still looks pretty adorable.
