Many people forget that Dan Akroyd appeared in My Girl because he’s one of the most famous actors in Hollywood. After making his acting debut in the 1970s, Dan quickly took on some of the coolest roles that the acting world had to offer him. Most notably, he starred in The Blues Brothers and Ghostbusters.
Nowadays, Dan is still going strong and still working as an actor. He’s just wrapped up the third Ghostbusters Movie, and he will even star in the 2019 Zombieland sequel. As if that wasn’t cool enough, Dan also co-owns the House of Blues music venues, as well as his own drinks company.
