Dr. Sam Helburn became the “other man” in My Girl 2, and although he didn’t get his happy ending, he definitely pushed Rose and Phil to have their own happy ending. This cardiologist found himself drawn to the LA auto repair shop after finding a fault in his vehicle.
However, after setting eyes on Rose Zsigmond, he decided to go back time and time again because he liked what he saw. He flattered her and tried to woo her, and it often seemed as though his charm was working. Yet, it just wasn’t enough to tear Rose away from Uncle Phil.
