Thomas J. Sennett – or Thomas J – only appeared in the first My Girl movie, and there’s a good reason for this. In one of the most emotional movie moments ever, Thomas J sadly lost his life after he tried to retrieve Vada’s mood ring.
She had lost the ring as the two best friends took a closer look at a beehive, and in an effort to impress the girl he had loved for years, Thomas J went back later on to give it back to her. However, his allergies got the better of him, and he passed away after being stung numerous times.
