On her quest to find out more about her mother, Vada found herself in the home of Jeffrey Pommeroy. This man was married to Maggie before she married Harry, but Vada had no idea he had ever existed. As she dealt with the news that her mother had been married to another man before her father, she wondered whether there was anything else she didn’t know.
Was Jeffrey her father? The man denied the claims but noted that he would have been extremely proud to have a daughter like her. Before Vada left, Jeffrey dug out some old footage of his mother and her friends for Vada to watch.
