Every auto repair shop needs an owner, and Rose was that owner in My Girl 2. Rose offered Phil a job when he made his way to Los Angeles, and the two soon embarked on a relationship together. Because they lived together with Rose’s son, Nick, Vada went to stay with the couple when she made her way to LA for her school project.
Rose did everything she could to make sure that Vada felt comfortable in her home, and she proved to be a huge support system when times got tough. Rose was caring and loving, and that’s exactly what Vada needed.
