Before he took on the role of Mr. Bixler, Griffin Dunne had already made his mark on the acting world. In fact, he made his acting debut in 1975! Over the course of his career, he has been able to maintain a rather busy acting schedule, and it seems as though things have only picked up since his 1991 appearance in My Girl.
In recent years, Griffin has focused on both acting and producing work and has taken on major and minor characters. Dunne had the opportunity to take on a role in the 2018 Hollywood blockbuster, Ocean’s Eight. He’s also just wrapped up a new movie role, called The French Dispatch. So, it’s safe to say that he’s still a pretty big deal.
