When you first started serving tables, it seemed as though there was literal fire everywhere and it was your job just to put them out wherever you could. As you get more experience you realize that instead of putting the fire out you just need to carry it around with you, it becomes the norm. Now you are so used to everything being a blind panic that it’s just second nature to you. You would feel like something’s wrong if you go to work and everything goes smoothly.
