Alongside those who didn’t think Varya should be lifting such heavy weights as a woman, there were others who didn’t think she should be lifting such heavy weights as a youngster. They were worried that it would be detrimental to her health and her growth and didn’t want her to be at a disadvantage later in life because of her early actions. As the criticism grew, Varya’s family decided to put the naysayers at bay once and for all. They booked a doctors appointment to get some answers.
