Amanda Bynes was a beloved child star, but as she grew up, things took a bit of a wrong turn for her personally, which later affected her professionally. Bynes announced in 2018 that she was four years sober after being exposed to elicit substances for the first time when she was just 16 years old.
It was certainly an uphill battle for the actress to get to where she is today. She hasn’t appeared in any acting roles since Easy A in 2010 because she took an indefinite hiatus for personal reasons. Since then, she has has suffered from substance abuse that ultimately altered her mental health, leading her down a dangerous path. Thankfully she has gotten her act together.
