After her character was written out of the O.C., Mischa Barton’s life took a bit of a downward spiral. She was hospitalized after Nicole Richie’s Memorial Day party, claiming she’d mixed alcohol with antibiotics. After that, she was a tabloid queen and deemed a party girl.
Later that year, Barton was caught driving under the influence, and in 2009, she was rumored to be in a psych ward for allegedly wanting to take her own life. Since then, she hasn’t had much luck in returning to her successful acting career.
