For a while, Katherine Heigl was the queen of rom-com, but then things took a turn when she insulted the 2007 film Knocked Up in which she starred in alongside Seth Rogen. Heigl said publicly that she did not like the way the film portrayed women and, obviously, people were not thrilled with her comment.
Her career really went downhill, however, when she made the mistake of insulting Shonda Rhimes, the showrunner for Grey’s Anatomy. Heigl said her material wasn’t enough to warrant an Emmy, and she was written out of the show shortly after. After a string of unsuccessful big and small screen works, she is attempting to make a comeback on legal drama Suits.
