[post_page_title]Half of Earth’s water is older than our sun[/post_page_title]
Billions of years after the formation of our universe and we still can’t help but wonder about things. There’s so much space to cover and too many questions that need to be answered. It is believed the sun first ignited around 4.6 billion years ago and is about halfway through its burning.
Earth, however, is roughly 4.5 billion years old. While there is an age gap, research has shown that at least half of the planet’s water has come from frozen interstellar gas that was floating around before the formation of our solar system. Wowza.
