The 2004 film Hellboy, based on the comic book, starred actor Ron Pearlman as Hell Boy himself. Pearlman had the physical raw material to play the role as he was so tall and broad. The character was a reformed demon who got his horns sawed off and presented with red skin. The hours that it took to make Pearlman into Hell Boy numbered in the high single digits. The only part of Pearlman that wasn’t covered in the red paint were his eyes.
