Nicole Kidman’s role as Virginia Woolf in the film The Hours only took one change in her face to make waves. Kidman wore a prosthetic nose throughout the film, changing her face entirely. Kidman spent around three hours a day in makeup to make the look as natural as possible, as well as to downplay Kidman’s naturally beautiful features. Kidman won an Academy Award for her role in the film.
