[post_page_title]Rebecca Romijn | X-Men[/post_page_title]
Rebecca Romijn played the original Mystique in the X-Men films. Transforming into the blue-skinned mutant was no easy task, though. Romijn spent nine hours being turned into the character every day with four makeup artists working on her simultaneously, adding hundreds of scale prosthetics to her body paint, yellow contact lenses and orange hair. Romijn stated that during the second film of the franchise, the hours in the makeup trailer went down to six hours. Guess that after months of doing things the makeup artists got the hang of it.
