When watching the series it might seem like everything is constantly busy, and the fisherman are on deck, working hard at all times. There is so much that is put into a single action-packed episode, that it’s easy to forget that when the 45 minute show ends, the people in the show are still on that boat. In reality, the fishermen’s time at sea isn’t all action all the time. Shifts can last between 20 to 30 hours, so there’s quite a bit of downtime in there. But, of course, watching their downtime probably wouldn’t be as interesting.
