Due to the rough conditions, and number of ships, the show opted not to have an onscreen host. Instead, the have a narrator who does voice overs throughout each episode. But, did you know that the person narrating changes based on where you are watching? If you are watching Deadliest Catch in America, the show is narrated by Mike Rowe. However, in the United Kingdom it is narrated by Bill Petrie, and in Malaysia by Nasir Bilal Khan. Discovery felt like audiences would relate more to narrators with accents they were familiar with.
