Since breaking into the music market and making a name for herself, Dolly Parton has proved herself to be a prolific songstress. She wrote some of the most well-known songs of the 20th Century, and she has the privilege of claiming iconic hits such as “9 to 5,” “Jolene,” and “I Will Always Love You” as her own. As the 1980s drew to a close, Dolly found herself disappearing from the limelight – but she wasn’t going to let that happen. She decided to create her own record label and has since found herself back on top form.
