Although his marriage had been torn in two, Burt still had the fond memories of working with one of the greatest singers and actresses of all time to keep him going through such a difficult time. Up until his sad passing, he had only good things to say about Dolly Parton. He noted that he enjoyed every second of their time together and that he felt privileged to be able to share a set with such an incredible woman. During an interview in 2015, he confirmed that working was Dolly was “wonderful.”
