Giuliana Rancic put herself in hot water after making an extremely rude, and off-color remark regarding singer-actress Zendaya’s hair on her show Fashion Police. She mentioned that her dreadlocks probably smelt like patchouli oil and a certain illegal green substance.
Kelly Osbourne immediately jumped to Zendaya’s defense, and Rancic later apologized, saying she meant to compare her to Bohemian chic style. Zendaya responded in a way that subtly called Rancic ignorant and commented on how she was trying to put a positive light on African American hair.
