Martha Stewart wanted the world to know how she felt toward Gwyneth Paltrow starting a lifestyle brand. In case you couldn’t guess, she has a strong opinion about it, and not in a good way. Stewart said, “She just needs to be quiet. She’s a movie star. If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn’t be trying to be Martha Stewart.”
Paltrow replied sarcastically to this with, “No one has ever said anything bad about me before, so I’m shocked and devastated. I’ll try to recover.” It seems Paltrow liked the idea that Martha thought of her company Goop as a threat, otherwise she wouldn’t have felt the need to insult it.
