It’s pretty clear that Lena Dunham doesn’t really care what people have to say about her, and this was the case when the late Joan Rivers decided to speak up about Dunham’s weight.
The comedian said that Lena promotes obesity and by not changing the way she looks, it sends a message to other women that “It’s okay, stay fat.” Dunham didn’t let these words hurt her, but the actress did mention the insults in a tweet shortly before Rivers passed away and made a few jokes at her expense.
