Tom Cruise and Brooke Shields had a pretty heated and controversial debate going for a bit, but thankfully all was resolved when he came to her house to give her a heartfelt apology. She even attended his wedding to Katie Holmes. This was all after Shields said Cruise “should stick to saving the world from aliens” after he made a comment about the use of prescriptions to treat mental illness.
Shields had suffered from postpartum depression and felt it was up to her to decide how to treat it, not someone who knows nothing about it. Cruise feels strongly toward this due to his religious beliefs, but obviously he felt he was in the wrong and apologized anyway.
