[post_page_title]Tina Turner about Aretha Franklin[/post_page_title]
When you’re considered a “Queen” of something, it can often turn into a competition amongst others who want to be a queen – especially when it comes to musicians. For instance, Tina Turner is known as the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, and the late Aretha Franklin was the Queen of Soul.

That being said, Franklin was offended when Beyonce introduced Turner as “The Queen” at the Grammys. Turner responded by saying, “Her ego must be so big to think she was the only one.” There was an ongoing feud between the two even up until Franklin’s passing in 2018. She often said Turner used the press to keep the feud going and boost her popularity.
