Much like other Terriers, Border Terrier loves to hunt and dig, and are a breed that’s sure to make you both laugh and cry! They’re peppy little comedians, but if you don’t give them the exercise and stimulation they need, they’ll probably tear your house down. A famous example of the breed was Owney, who was the unofficial mascot for the United States Postal Service for nine years! Joining in the late 19th century, he traveled across not only all 48 states but also overseas – racking up more than 140,000 miles in his lifetime.
