After Ugly Betty was over Ferrera found herself wanted by a ton of movie and film studios. In 2010 she landed the role of Astrid in the animated adventure How to Train Your Dragon, and has since gone on to appear in the sequels too.
Ferrera plays the love interest of the main character and has developed into one of the franchise’s favorite characters. Astrid proves to be just as good at training dragons as Hiccup, and their relationship develops as the franchise continues.
