Throughout SATC, Carrie Bradshaw tried and tried again to find true love. Ever the hopeless romantic, she fell in and out of relationships with various men in pursuit of blissful satisfaction.
Then she met Aleksandr, and Carrie was certain she had found her perfect match. She even tried to give up her New York lifestyle to live with this Russian artist in Paris, but despite trying to make herself fall in love with him, their age differences and incompatibilities eventually drove them apart.
