When we look at all of the unlikely relationships on television, none make us go, “Ooof,” quite like this one does. Lorelai and Jason had met way back as teenagers at camp, but had of course drifted apart.
Then Jason decided to go into business with Lorelai’s father, the couple started a secret, five-month relationship. The pair was doomed from the start, though, because everyone knows you can’t mix business with pleasure. Jason wound up suing Lorelai’s dad, and Lorelai obviously sided with her father. Yikes — talk about an ugly breakup!
