Seeing Ted and Robin slowly circling each other throughout this show was like an exercise in frustration. Ted had feelings for Robin right away, and had even told Barney that he was going to marry her one day.
This couple bounced back and forth on their relationship status — should they date? should they just be friends? — before finally settling on Ted making one final attempt to sweep Robin off her feet. While it took awhile before Ted and Robin finally admitted that they were meant for each other, seeing this unlikely pair get together was admittedly so satisfying to witness.
