In the original Gossip Girl pilot, actress Florencia Lozano played Blair Waldorf’s highly-critical, aristocratic mother Eleanor. The show’s producers determined that Lozano looked too young to be playing a mother and her role was cut. Margaret Colin was hired to play Blair’s mother instead and she made her first appearance in episode four. Lozano most recently appeared in the hit Netflix thriller series, Narcos, and will next be seen in the horror thriller Amy Makes Three.
