In 2009 HBO commissioned a Game of Thrones pilot. After it tested negatively with audiences the network went back to the drawing boards. They recast and rewrote most of the episode. Pride and Prejudice actress Jennifer Ehle starred as the original Catelyn Stark but was replaced with Irish actress Michelle Fairley. Ehle has four movies slated for a 2018 release. She will next been seen in the thriller The Wolf Hour with Naomi Watts, and with Jennifer Hudson in the crime drama Monster.
