Character actor Stephen Tobolowsky was brought in to play Tim Allen’s best friend on the hit sitcom Home Improvement. Unable to commit to the hectic TV schedule, he dropped out and Richard Karn was hired to play Al Borland. Tobolowsky has held guest roles on probably all of your favorite shows including The Goldbergs, Silicon Valley, The Mindy Project, and Glee. He has appeared in more than 250 film and TV projects and is showing no sign of quitting Hollywood anytime soon.
