Tina Fey cast her BFF, Rachel Dratch, in her first project after leaving her head writer position at Saturday Night Live. Dratch originally played the role of the narcissistic and irreverent Jenna Maroney on the workplace sitcom 30 Rock. She was later replaced by Jane Krakowski but wrote in her memoir that there is no bad blood between her and her pal. “The direction of the character had changed and pilots are recast all the time,” she said. “I thought it would be a non-story, but suddenly it blew up.”
