Seinfeld’s Michael Richards was close to playing another quirky character on Monk. The actor most known for playing Kramer on the sitcom almost played Adrian Monk. Shalhoub won three Emmys for his performance. He currently stars in the Amazon comedy series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel with Rachel Broshanan. The show just took home the Golden Globe award for Best Comedy Series. Shalhoub is also a talented voice actor who voiced the role of Luigi in Cars 3 last year.
