Buffy The Vampire Slayer is one of the most discussed show in sci-fi history. Even though the show went off the air in 2003, fans still blog and tweet about it consistently. It’s hard to believe that the central role could have gone to anyone other than Sarah Michelle Gellar. Before she was offered the role, however, Katie Holmes went through several rounds of auditions. Soon after Gellar accepted the role, Holmes landed the part of Joey Potter on the hit teen series Dawson’s Creek.
