[post_page_title]Veteran Homelessness[/post_page_title]
There are about 39,500 homeless veterans sleeping out on the streets of the United States on any given night. Veterans are at particular risk of becoming homeless due to various issues – from not being able to readjust to life as a civilian to having Post Traumatic Stress Disorder flashbacks and hallucinations. About half of all homeless veterans served in the Vietnam War, and many of them have substance abuse issues.
